Patience is fine, but it can curdle into apathy鈥
鈥 Caduceus Clay, 鈥淐ritical Role鈥
1. Supply Chain Orchestration
Let鈥檚 face it: Not everybody can stack dimes, not even AI-powered robots (at least not yet, but we鈥檙e missing the point). So what do you do if your welds suck, but they are serviceable? Grind 鈥榚m down! Kane Robotics, founded by CEO John Spruce in 2019, introduced material removal cobots equipped with AI-guided vision systems. These cobots can grind, polish, and sand, making them suitable for repetitive tasks, freeing workers for more complex jobs.
2. Aussie Brick-Laying Robot Truck
The Hadrian X, a robotic truck with a 105-foot telescopic boom arm, has arrived in Florida from Australia. Developed by FBR, this construction robot can quickly build up to 10 houses, stacking 500 blocks per hour and working 24/7. It uses quick-dry adhesive instead of mortar and can build three-story structures. In a joint venture with CRH Ventures Americas, Hadrian X will undergo a site acceptance test before potentially building 300 communities by robot in the United States.

3. Physical AI Sensors
Researchers at Ben-Gurion University developed multifunctional sensors that mimic natural systems, advancing physical AI (PAI). Unlike digital AI, PAI combines physical structures with computational intelligence for lifelike robots. They created 3D-printable materials with high conductivity, enabling versatile, precise sensors made from ionogels and carbon nanotubes. These sensors have applications in robotics and health care.
4. Royalberry Pi
King Charles III visited Sony UK's 都灵体育直播 Center in Pencoed, Wales, where he packed the 50-millionth Raspberry Pi. This visit celebrated the 50th anniversary of the site, which initially made Sony's Trinitron TVs and now produces Raspberry Pi computers. The milestone of 50 million units pertains to those manufactured at Pencoed, while total sales have reached 61 million units globally. The king also reviewed older Raspberry Pi models and was presented with a special edition Raspberry Pi 5 in a gold box.
5. 3D Printing With Resin Stinks!
Don鈥檛 know what to make for dinner tonight? Math and science are here to help. But it doesn鈥檛 have to! Movie time! You ever been craving some manufacturing, but Mom tells you, 鈥淲e have manufacturing at home鈥? You know she means some janky desktop polymer extrusion machine. These machines can scratch the itch, but when you want something more, usually the first improvement you look for is something with a decent surface finish. OK, so then you want an SLA or DLP system, but Mom won鈥檛 let you have that because the fumes can be dangerous. Well, here鈥檚 a solution!
