Take an Adventure 鈥 The newest IMTS+ mini-series takes viewers to Europe. 鈥:鈥 follows AMT executives and industry leaders as they travel to three international trade shows to compare them to IMTS, meet with AMT members exhibiting internationally, and explore familiar hot topics 鈥 from the pressing need for skilled workers to the latest manufacturing technology. 

The series kicks off in Hannover, Germany, at  鈥 often considered the IMTS of Europe 鈥 showcasing solutions for factory productivity and connectivity. Hosts are Nicole Wolter, president and CEO of  and chairperson of the , visiting EMO for the first time; Travis Egan, AMT鈥檚 chief revenue officer; and Peter Eelman, AMT鈥檚 chief experience officer. EMO featured 1,850 exhibitors and approximately 92,000 visitors. 

In the second series, Egan joins Bonnie Gurney, AMT vice president 鈥 strategic content and partnerships, and Debbie Holton, principal at , for a visit to , the largest additive manufacturing show in the world with more than 840 exhibitors and nearly 33,000 visitors.  

The season concludes with Gurney, joined by AMT President Doug Woods and Michelle Edmonson, AMT vice president 鈥 exhibitions, exploring , in Nuremburg, Germany. With 1,200 exhibitors and approximately 50,000 visitors, SPS represents the complete spectrum of smart and digital automation 鈥 from simple sensors to intelligent solutions.

Solutions for higher productivity fostered positivity among 89,020 registrants and 1,737 exhibitors.
Throughout the six days of IMTS 2024, the IMTS+ Main Stage hosted more than 85 speakers and produced more than 50 live shows.
With more than 40 million pounds of machinery on over 1.2 million square feet, IMTS 2024 energized nearly 90,000 registrants, including 14,713 at the Smartforce Student Summit, with automation, digital manufacturing, and solutions for higher productivity.
IMTS 2024 opens this week, boasting big numbers, as the weight of machinery exhibited tops 40 million pounds; conference registration doubles; and new technology attractions and events expand. IMTS runs Sept. 9-14 at Chicago's McCormick Place.
